Pascal, a four-month-old stray puppy, was left for dead after being covered in industrial glue and dragged through mud by cruel children in Turkey. The heartbreaking pictures of Pascal show him in a horrible condition, terrified and unable to move properly due to fear and ill health. The abuse he suffered was so severe that he lost hearing in one of his ears, which had become necrotic due to lack of blood flow. His skin also suffered extreme damage from the chemicals in the glue, and he had to undergo a series of medical baths to aid his recovery.
Fortunately, Pascal was found near an industrial estate in Istanbul by the charity He’Art of Rescue, which specializes in rescuing animals in distress. The dedicated team at the clinic worked tirelessly to nurse Pascal back to health, despite him also being diagnosed with the canine virus parvo. After several weeks of treatment, Pascal beat the viral infection and slowly started to show signs of recovery.
Less than a month after being rescued, Pascal’s transformation was nothing short of amazing. He is now unrecognizable, with his thick, shiny coat of fur and a much brighter and relaxed demeanor. He even made friends with another puppy at the clinic, enjoying cuddling up and playing with his new pal. Despite the trauma he had endured at the hands of humans, Pascal appeared relatively calm when receiving care from the vets and showed a remarkable ability to trust again.
He’Art of Rescue is now appealing for donations to cover Pascal’s medical bills, as well as the cost of rehabilitating other animals in their care. The organization is known for its exceptional work in rescuing and rehabilitating animals found in appalling conditions in Turkey. Rima, a member of the He’Art of Rescue team, expressed hope that Pascal’s soul would continue to mend with time and that he would find a loving adoptive family who would play a major role in his continued recovery.
Pascal’s journey to recovery has touched the hearts of millions of people around the world, with videos of his progress garnering widespread attention online. Despite the trauma he experienced, Pascal has shown resilience and a capacity to trust and love again. He has learned to play and act like a normal, happy dog, with his tail wagging and his eyes bright with joy.
In March, the He’Art of Rescue team posted new pictures of Pascal, now unrecognizable from his initial condition, with a thick, fluffy, shiny coat of fur. He was spending time with his foster family in Spain, enjoying the good life by the beach and being spoiled with love and care. Pascal’s story is a testament to the power of compassion and dedication in helping animals in need. Thanks to the unwavering efforts of He’Art of Rescue and their medical team, Pascal has been given a second chance at life, and his journey to recovery continues with the hope of finding a forever home where he will be loved and cherished.
